SizeProof processes the photos you select and the PDFs it creates on your device. The app does not upload document content to a SizeProof server or require an account. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob and its consent service handle that ad.
Information used by the app
- Selected photos: copied temporarily so the app can order, rotate, compress, and render them.
- Generated PDFs: retained temporarily so you can preview, share, or save them.
- Purchase state: Apple supplies verified StoreKit entitlement information. The app caches whether a verified lifetime entitlement exists.
- Free allowance: the number of successful free exports is stored locally on the device.
- Ad credits: each completed rewarded ad grants one extra successful PDF export. Earned credits are stored on this device until used; failed or cancelled PDF generations do not consume them. Reinstalling the app may reset local counts and credits.
Sharing and retention
Source metadata such as GPS coordinates is not intentionally copied to generated PDFs. Temporary source files, partial output, and abandoned files are subject to in-app cleanup. A PDF leaves the app only after you explicitly use Share or Save to Files.
Purchases
Apple may process purchase and App Store diagnostic information under Apple’s own terms. SizeProof does not receive your payment-card details.
Optional usage analytics
Analytics collection is off by default. If you choose Share usage analytics, SizeProof uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand whether key journeys succeed or get stuck.
Analytics can include app launches, screen visits, feature actions, outcome categories, bucketed page counts and size ranges, generation-performance ranges, general app/device/operating-system information, approximate region, a random app-installation identifier, and in-app purchase events or product information. Exact custom targets and exact file sizes are not sent.
Selected photos, PDF contents, filenames, document text, names, email addresses, phone numbers, and other free-form text are never included in SizeProof analytics events. SizeProof does not set a Firebase user ID or use the advertising identifier for optional Firebase usage analytics. Rewarded ads have separate privacy choices described below.
Google processes this data as the analytics provider. Analytics traffic is encrypted in transit. Google states that IP addresses are used to derive approximate location and discarded before the data is logged. Read Google Analytics data collection and Google’s privacy policy.
Your analytics choice
You can change your choice at any time in More Options → Privacy. Turning analytics off stops future collection and resets the local Firebase Analytics data and app-installation identifier. Data already sent may remain under the configured Google Analytics retention policy and in aggregate reporting.
Rewarded ads and ad privacy
Ads are requested only when you tap Watch ad. Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform may process information needed to request, show, measure, and award an ad. Depending on your location and privacy choices, this can include IP address or approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, performance data, and diagnostics. Read Google’s advertising privacy information.
Where required, Google presents an ad consent form and an option to change your ad privacy choices. iOS may separately ask whether SizeProof can track activity across other apps for more relevant ads. You can decline iOS tracking permission and still request a rewarded ad; that choice is managed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. When an ad privacy options entry is required, it appears on the More exports screen.
